Bachelors degree in Engineering or Science (i.e., chemistry, biology or environmental).
Experience with the operation and maintenance of industrial or municipal wastewater or water treatment plants.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong problem solving, analytical and "hands-on" skills.
Excellent multi-tasking, organization, prioritization, planning and communication skills.
Ability to extract, evaluate and utilize data for process improvement from all applicable resources.
Must be flexible, and open to changing environment and evolving job responsibilities.
Requires some proficiency with Microsoft Windows PC applications.
Must be free to work weekends and holidays any shift during the entire year.
Operate, monitor and maintain all wastewater treatment processes and equipment in a manner to ensure compliance with state and federal environmental permit limits.
Sample collection, analysis and interpretation of the results.
Perform basic maintenance and repair to all equipment and instrumentation.
Operation of bio solids dewatering equipment.
Housekeeping and cleaning of all equipment, structures and facilities.
