Our logistics team manages a network of breweries, warehouses, and distribution centers like a boss to get what we need, where and when we need it. Role Overview

As an Operations Supervisor at Anheuser-Busch, you will have the opportunity to lead and coach others through day to day tasks as well as the extraordinary challenges encountered in a fast-paced warehouse/delivery environment. The right person for this role has the ability to prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced environment, with proven analytical, influencing, and negotiation skills. You don’t like being bored because you prefer to manage multiple projects simultaneously. When given a challenge, you are motivated to over deliver.

We are looking for a candidate who has an internal drive to push themselves and everyone forward to be the best. This person will proactively identify areas to improve operations and exceed key performance indicators by using six sigma methodology and knowledge of evolving industry trends.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the safety, performance, and engagement of the delivery personnel; all deviances from company policies and expectations are responded to quickly and disciplined accordingly

  • Monitor delivery refusals and respond to issues preventing deliveries

  • Work with sales team to monitor refusal trends

  • Oversee daily route creation for next day

  • Resilient tracking and reduction of driver breakage and route variances

  • Verify and validate shift manpower based on sales volume requirements, train and address skill gaps accordingly

  • Attend all required meetings and provide data and information as needed

  • Support daily/weekly/monthly KPIs and targets with on time and accurate reporting

  • Advise on delivery spend in accordance with monthly budgets in order to reduce variance

  • Support safety routines and initiatives as indicated by the Safety Manager

  • Supervise employees on route through observations and coaching on adherence to company policies and standard operating procedures.

  • Complete other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager or Director of Operations including special projects, special events, and weekend work

  • Operate as a role model in full compliance to A-B INBEV and AED’s stated focus, values, vision statement, mission statement, building A-B INBEV brand loyalty at all retail levels.

This position will report directly to the Senior Manager of Delivery and will be on a team of 3 Supervisors. The schedule will be a mid-day shift with the flexibility of working M-F or Tues-Sat, depending on workload. The branch is located in Hunts Point in the Bronx.

Job Qualifications

  • AS/BS degree preferred. Engineering, Science or Management degree preferred

  • Warehouse management experience preferred

  • Strong interpersonal, problem solving and root cause analysis skills

  • Ability to influence, coach and facilitate

  • Project management skills preferred
