SALARY: $78,400 - 88,200

ROLE SUMMARY:

Our business thrives on the exchange of information and the analysis of data. The Information Systems Technology Engineer is an experienced IT lead with a blend of management, leadership, and technology skills. The Engineer will work in tandem with the ST Manager at the Cartersville Brewery to manage and support all aspects of IT related infrastructure, hardware and software as well as provide end user support to the brewery and it’s 500 + end users.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with the existing IT manager to support all IT related functions in the Cartersville Brewery which consists of but are not limited to Network infrastructure, VMware environment, Phone Communications, Windows Client OS (XP-10), Windows Server OS 2000-2019, O365, Active Directory management, SCCM, WSUS, custom applications support and some limited database support.

  • Provide 24x7 IT support for Cartersville Brewery Process environment (including weekends and holidays) for production critical failures.

  • Manage small to medium IT projects from design through implementation.

  • Provide IT related technical support to CAPEX project managers administering medium to large scale projects.

  • Assist in managing\resolving IT Help desktop tickets to ensure requests are responded to and resolved in a timely manner.

  • Troubleshoot\repair\support various hardware / software, including Physical PCs, ThinClients, Phones, Printers, phone systems, etc.

  • Develop training and write SOPs for IT sustainability and upskilling of process engineers and hourly technicians to aid in IT support.

  • Manage multiple objectives and assignments in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ensure adherence & compliance to various IT company policies and standards.

  • Ensure all infrastructure and plant floor systems are aligned with the latest IT security policies and standards set by our Zone and Corporate IT staffs.

  • Engage in root cause analysis and troubleshooting of major IT related issues.

Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in IT support, engineering, or manufacturing.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, team orientation, and customer focus.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or IT management subject area.

  • Experience with Network Topology, Cisco Switches/Routers and Cisco Wireless Access Points preferred.

  • Experience with Manufacturing Automation Systems (FactoryTalk View and other Rockwell products) preferred.

  • General understanding of virtualized environment (VMWare) preferred

  • Above average problem solving & multi-tasking abilities, leads by example, acts as an owner, results oriented & strong customer focus skills.

  • Ability to extract, evaluate, and utilize data for process improvement from applicable systems.

  • Intermediate knowledge of computer hardware, Windows Operating System & IT Infrastructure, relational database and software monitoring technologies.

  • Ability to execute complex IT projects from design to implementation.

  • Production process management experience a plus.
