SALARY: $88,400 - $99,450

If you are interested in a hands-on, continuous improvement-oriented, fast-paced role in a world-class manufacturing environment then our Autonomous Operations Manager role is for you. This individual is a junior member of the senior management team. They are responsible for continuous improvement and the management system facilitation at the brewery. This individual coaches front line teams on the use of the management system tools, tracks performance as a result and aids in problem solving efforts. To achieve these goals you will be actively engaging with every department, creating and executing action plans to meet critical metrics, developing relationships with team members, influencing change, enhancing your technical knowledge, and developing as a leader.


  • Strategic position to develop our front line in problem-solving

  • Implement the Autonomous Operations strategy to empower the front line to make decisions to improve their performance

  • Utilize standard management tools (VPO) to achieve critical metric targets and close gaps in performance (root cause analysis, SIC, MCRS, 5 Why’s, PDCA and SCDA cycles, etc.)

  • Lead and coach teams through troubleshooting and monitoring of key operating processes and equipment utilizing lean manufacturing and six sigma methodology.

  • Identify areas to improve operations in order to achieve or exceed key performance indicators and targets.

  • Establish and maintain close relationships with departments across the Brewery.

  • Own the implementation of process improvement and/or innovation-based projects.


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or related discipline required

  • 3-5 years of experience leading lean six sigma continuous improvement initiatives

  • Strong leadership skills and team orientation; ability to lead change

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and technical problem-solving skills

  • Highly focused on results and providing a structured, systematic approach to delivering solutions

  • Detail-oriented, schedule driven and strong planning skills needed for handling multiple projects

  • Ability to extract, evaluate and utilize data for process improvement from applicable systems

  • Self-directed and willing to assume new responsibilities to support changing needs of the department ​

  • Belt methodology and/or lean methods experience is preferred

  • Experience in high-speed packaging and/or highly automated continuous process environment is preferred

  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays to support the Brewery as needed
