Leads by example in Safety, Quality and Production initiatives and daily operations
Provides troubleshooting and repair assistance to Team Members on in Front End area
Assists Team Members with process decisions.
Addresses safety and housekeeping issues.
Ensures Team Members have necessary tools and resources to accomplish individual and team goals.
Facilitates team discussions and problem solving, actively seeking Team Member input.
Coordinates staffing assignments based on direction from Superintendent.
Provides input on Team Member performance to Plant Superintendent
Accountable for preventative maintenance and housekeeping.
Monitors SOP compliance and implements SOP changes and generation of new SOPs.
Responsible for daily reporting, shift and other required paperwork including production reports.
Communicate with on-coming and off-going teams.
Utilize and minimize downtime.
Monitor QA Specifications.
Coordinate Team Projects/Work Orders/Shop Projects
Safety and Quality Leader
Technical operational knowledge of the can and Front End manufacturing processes.
Five years’ experience as Production Tech or Plant Tech with good mechanical skills and Front End production equipment experience required.
Excellent shop and hand tool skills, including precision measuring instruments. Solid pneumatics system experience.
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to interact with others in a positive and effective manner.
Demonstrated coaching and influence skills.
Ability to organize, schedule, and perform multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent troubleshooting skills, ability to identify a problem situation and use analytical skills to or identify the root cause.
Excellent performance, safety, and attendance record.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain confidential information.
Ability to demonstrate and monitor safe work practices.
Demonstrated support of plant SOPs, company guidelines, and quality, maintenance and housekeeping standards. Familiar with SOPs for front end equipment.
Possess working knowledge of plant systems
Demonstrate leadership and involvement in team and maintenance activities
