SALARY : $20.00 per hour
WORK LOCATION: 5510 Airport Way Seattle, WA (Elysian Brewery)
SHIFT: MONDAY – FRIDAY
5:00 AM – 1:30PM
Occasional weekends

Over the past 25 years, we've carried this same spirit in the way we brew our beer - shaking up classic styles, using unusual ingredients, and learning from experimentation. We push creativity beyond the brews. Each beer label is made by our in-house team who pull inspiration from design, photography, clay, paint, needlepoint, and even the occasional tattoo. ROLE SUMMARY :
This is an entry level brewing position that assists the packaging department in all essential job functions. Provides basic level coverage for production.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Provides key requirements to run assigned machinery for the day
Plans for and completes CIP, parts, and material changeovers
Plan and prepares the oncoming shift with material requirements, housekeeping needs, etc. as part of the shift hand off/closing duty expectations
Works with shift lead and department trainer to find balance between learning, troubleshooting, and escalation to resolve incidents in a timely, safe manner
Understands and applies SAM/LOTO when required
Completes safety compliance training and actively follows lessons learned
Escalates safety concerns to lead
Escalates quality concerns to lead
Adheres to required PPE at all times
Completes required production and quality checks, documents on logs/paperwork in real time as checks are done
Fully understands SOP’s, set-up, changeover, operation, basic trouble shooting, clean up, of a variety of workstations
Follows escalation protocol for production, safety, or quality issues to lead when necessary
Maintains a clean and organized workstation
Performs all other duties as assigned
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Highschool or GED Equivalent required
Understands and employs a Safety-First approach
Ability to work flexible schedules and overtime to meet production plan
Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks and prioritize well
Ability to walk or stand for full shift as well as stooping, crawling, and crouching under/overconveyors and equipment
Must be able to lift, carry, push/pull loads up to 50 pounds repeatedly over long periods of time
Basic computer skills, i.e.. Regularly check e-mail, send e-mails, complete online trainings.
