SALARY: $135,000 – $216,000, Bonus and Long-term Incentive eligible

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Job & The Team

TechOps Engineering is a function inside Anheuser-Busch responsible for building and modernizing software products that supports the lifecycle of technical solutions running all aspects of the business. – breweries, sales, craft breweries, vertical operations, marketing, wholesalers, and back office.

As a Staff Software Engineer working across the full stack across multiple engineering pods, you will be a key contributor to ensure end-to-end functionality in applications and services through contributing to and bringing together front end and back-end development. You will work with a DevOps software engineering team dedicated to building enterprise applications with cloud-first technology to enable key parts of our business. From contributing to new applications to enhancing existing products, you will work amongst a team of passionate software engineers, facilitated by a scrum master, with work prioritized by product owners.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software products at scale

  • Modernize and transform legacy interfaces into modern architecture, to digitize and monetize our ecosystem.

  • Contribute to end-to-end solution design & development with work on both the front end and back end

  • Experience with design, implementation, and consumption of API services and service-oriented architecture patterns

  • Build underlying data & service layers used by applications to interact with data stores such as MS SQL, Oracle and more.

  • Participate in the design of contracts and schemas for APIs and middleware services

  • Experience in debugging and profiling applications, and improving their efficiency, scalability, and stability

  • Extensive knowledge of Core programming concepts, algorithms and data structures

  • Extensive knowledge of distributed system design concepts and design patterns

  • Establish patterns, build component libraries, and contribute to documentation

  • Proficiency with Git, Azure DevOps or other CI/CD tooling

  • Embrace continuous learning in daily work on company time to work towards company paid certifications and accreditations

  • Research and implement new technology to keep the team at the front of innovation.

  • Contribute towards the long-term technical roadmap for TechOps

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or related engineering field.Real-world experience developing scalable software.

  • Experience in designing user experiences and building federated API gateways in using modern and open source tools.

  • Passion for precision engineering, high performance software systems building software that - creates long-term sustainable value.

  • Experience with high velocity CI/CD systems, agile ways of working and A/B testing to accelerate iteration cycles.
