Anheuser-Busch Region Channel Lead - High End/Craft in United States

LOCATION: Candidate must be located in California. This position is not remote.

SALARY: $94,400-$112,100, bonus and long-term incentive eligible

The Region Channel Lead - High End/Craft is responsible for executing and maintaining fruitful relationships with Wholesalers and Key Operation Personnel (Market Mgrs.) relevant to their market. The overall purpose of this position is to execute the overall Anheuser-Busch sales objectives including volume, share, distribution, assortment, etc. at Key Emerging Channel Chains in Region West. This position works under a Retail Sales Director. The primary function of this role is to sell-in and influence our wholesaler partners, through partnership, communication, and consistency. The Channel Lead position must be critically aware of industry best practices, and regional competition and the overall High End /Craft beer segment strategies.


  • Develop and own channel strategy for high end. Full plan, execution, and results responsibility.

  • Successfully lead plans and initiatives cross functionally. Owning entire process including 1 year planning and 3 year planning.

  • Responsible for channel management model and routines to ensure results. Track and measure business performance in key volume and execution metrics via Performance Review. Develop and drive action plans to close gaps.

  • Lead projects with significant impact on West business, manage budget and results.

  • Manage Large Format resources within budgetary limits. Providing routine performance update to BU leadership.


  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • Sales and/or Marketing experience preferably in the beverage or consumer package goods industry

  • Proven Leadership Ability/Advanced Supervisory Skills/Demonstrated Coaching Skills Required

  • Ability to work hours as required (nights, weekends, etc.)

  • Strong internal and external customer orientation; Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a team
