Role Summary

In this role, you will build and implement a local strategy to deliver our national commercial priorities. Data driven insights, ability to translate learnings into action, and influencing our internal and external partners will be critical parts of your daily routine.

You will be working directly with dedicated main house wholesalers, cultivating a strategic relationship at a higher level of the wholesaler organization. Using a strategic, forward thinking mindset, you will elevate our role/presence with wholesalers for your specific market.

Job Responsibilities:

· Full understanding and ability to leverage tools to provide strategic oversight of the business: IRI, Hero Analytics, Business Objects, VIPR, RMIS, etc.

· Manage the following processes:

· Pricing strategy development & price increase sell-in

· Cents per case audits

· Forecasting reviews

· Commercial Planning & Performance management (holistic), including Innovation, Channel, and Non-Alc

· Identifying current and future market trends and developing solutions/plans to lead future growth

· Manage a team of Commercial Directors that support medium to small wholesalers in a 3:1 to 5:1 relationship, giving you and your team more commercial ownership and strategic oversight of the annual business plan & Wholesaler JBP.

· Lead and support your team in creating strategies for your territory, cultivating a strategic relationship at a higher level of the wholesaler organization and elevating our role/presence with wholesalers, and using forward thinking to elevate relationships

· Oversee the Sales, Share and Financial performance of your dedicated marketing including:

· Wholesaler planning and performance meetings

· Trimester planning and strategy implementation

· AOE & WEA assessments

· Present market performance in routine meetings (SPR) with senior management

Qualifications - External

· Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required

· 7+ years of sales experience in a fast-paced, high performance consumer packaged goods environment

· Ability to understand and develop strategic direction and develop plans to get results

· Strong leadership skills and the ability to develop and engage people to build a high-performance sales team

· Strong influencing and communication skills – both internal and external

· Experience with cross-functional collaboration, communication, negotiation, and presentations

· Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects
